Who can review
Only someone who booked the tour through tourbookers can review it. Every review belongs to one booking, and each booking can be reviewed once. A review is possible only after the last day of the tour, and only if the booking was confirmed and not cancelled. Every review is therefore marked as a verified booking. We do not check separately whether the guest actually took part in the tour.
How we invite
After the tour we send one e-mail inviting the guest to review it. A review is voluntary.
What is published
Every review appears at once, whether positive or negative, and without us checking it first. It shows the stars, the text, the first name, the country and the month of the tour. The form does not accept links, e-mail addresses or phone numbers.
When we hide a review
We hide a review only if it contains unlawful content or insults, has nothing to do with the tour, names personal data of other people or is advertising. We record the reason. A review is never hidden because it is negative.
Order and average
The newest reviews come first. The overall score is the average of the stars of all visible reviews of the tour, rounded to one decimal place. All reviews count equally.
Incentives
There is nothing in return for a review: no voucher, no discount and no payment.
Replies from tour providers
The tour provider can write one public reply to each review. The provider cannot change or delete the review.
Translations
Reviews and replies that are not written in English are machine-translated into English. Anyone reading the page in a language other than the original's sees the translation with a note and can switch to the original.
Reporting a review
Every review has a "Report" link. We look at every report and hide the review if one of the reasons above applies. To have your own review deleted, write to info@tourbookers.com.
