Your experience begins with a private hotel pickup and a scenic drive towards the northwestern coast of Mahé, where the journey leaves the developed coastline behind and enters a wilder side of the island. From the trailhead, begin your guided walk through lush tropical forest, following a beautiful path that winds between granite boulders, native vegetation, and the rugged slopes of the island. Along the way, your guide brings the landscape to life, introducing you to Seychelles' endemic plants, wildlife, and the stories behind the natural environment.
As you continue along the trail, the forest opens at different points to reveal magnificent views of Mahé's dramatic northwestern coastline, with granite cliffs meeting the deep blue Indian Ocean. These changing perspectives make the journey as memorable as the destination itself. Eventually, the trail leads you to Anse Major, a secluded beach tucked between granite outcrops and tropical forest. After spending time at Anse Major, begin the return hike along the trail before your private vehicle takes you comfortably back to your hotel. Guests may also choose to return by taxi boat at an additional cost of SCR 150 per person, subject to availability.
